As a result, this inspection did not examine the circumstances of the incident. However, the information shared with CQC about the incident indicated potential concerns about the management of health and safety in the service. We had also received some concerns about the service in respect of physical abuse and poor care practices. We are mindful of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on our regulatory function. We will continue to monitor the service and will take further action if needed. Medicines were managed safely, and people received them as prescribed. People were supported to eat and drink enough and told us the food was good in Cornford House. At the time of our inspection there was a registered manager in post.
